Emma Nourse
Emma Nourse, a Michaelis School of Fine Art graduate (2011), is renowned for her magnificent floral work on canvas and silk. Nourse uses colour, brushstrokes, and gesture to give expression to complex human emotions. Her paintings seek to explore how feelings can be conveyed through commonplace subject matter which has been abstracted and heightened.
Emma is a single mom to a young son, and lives in Cape Town with her pets.
