Dylan Rhys Jones
Dylan is a Cape Town-based artist and furniture maker with a passion for capturing the essence of his city through his art. Known for his detailed drawings of iconic Cape Town scenes, Dylan gained recognition during the COVID-19 lockdown with a poignant series depicting beloved local businesses—particularly restaurants—that were forced to close their doors. Originally created to raise funds for these struggling institutions, this series now serves as a heartfelt tribute to a challenging yet pivotal time.
With a diverse background as an engineer, guitarist, butcher, and chef, Dylan now leads production at Pedersen + Lennard while nurturing his love for art. His work celebrates Cape Town’s vibrant community and allows others to bring a piece of the city’s unique charm into their homes.
