Inspired by the Rainbow Nation it features a parent tree with all the little creatures living in it representing all the different cultures living together. The creatures are all talking to each other in different languages :) The words "Be True" can be read inside the branches of the tree.

Inspired by historical botanical illustrations, I wanted to create a classic botanical chart in a fresh style that is beautiful as a work of art, but also function as a practical chart for identifying the flowering plants.
Over THREE months of FULL TIME work went into creating this print! From researching and choosing the 85 plants to feature, cross checking their botanical and common names, planning out the layout. Sketching all the plants out in pencil, drawing them in ink, scanning them and colouring them digitally.
The end result is something that Im extremely proud of, and I hope it will bring joy to many people and inspire a love and appreciation for nature.
